1. No Power or Meta gaming.
Power gaming is forcing another player's character to do an action, empowering your character beyond acceptable limits without Admin approval or not acting like your character is human and can fuck up. Both forcing a character to accept a punch in the face without a proper response or continuously dodging every hit are examples of Power gaming.
Meta gaming is using Out of Character knowledge in an In-Character Situation. Your character doesn't know the very workings of the Covenant or what the hell the Forerunners are unless they have had a specific background that says otherwise. This also includes knowing enemy positions just because you saw an admin in that area or because someone told you in a steam message.
2. PAC is In Character and can be taken away if abused
What this means is that anything you put on your PAC can and will be taken In Character. Everything that you place on a PAC can be seen by other characters and anything that isn't acceptable by standards of a Military will result in immediate IC consequences however things of this nature will not be taken OOCly. So this actually can end up being a great roleplay tool.
However, using PAC to bring in custom models, overpowered pieces of tech that you obviously wouldn't have access to or to break immersion on the server will result in immediate removal of PAC and you will have to prove that you are responsible to gain the privilege once again.
We have a standard of our content that we do not wish to be sullied by headhacks or the like. This rule has been in place since the start of Galaxyworks and before. And will remain no matter what.
3. No Bullying of other Players
Now, to be in this community you must have some sort of maturity. Bullying counts as serious harassment, saying things that seriously offend on terms that you were fully aware would hurt the person, ignoring all of their IC actions unless they or an admin have voided it and the continuous type of comments about someone being hated or not valued by the community as a whole. This community is about us having fun, role playing together and most importantly making friends and connections. Do not ruin that for others.
That also goes the other way. Don't be a bitch just because someone made one silly comment. Be mature and move on. Any of this will result in kicks, temp bans and finally a perma.
4. ERP and the Server's Stance on it
Erotic Roleplay is frowned upon on this server. Romantic, or Flirtation RP is completely acceptable and affectionate without being downright sensual actions such as kissing softly, hugs or cuddling is fine. However anything more than that we request that you take it to another medium such as steam chat or Skype.
If you remain on the server you consent to us copying the logs the posting them on the admin forums for our own entertainment. Thou have been warned.
Most importantly, Rape RP is not allowed. You cannot force another player into ERP or conspire together to have a character raped. While some of us may have become Jaded from our time on ye olde interwebs, people are affected by this issue everyday. No one should have to be subjected to something they thought they could escape from here.This will result in an instant permanent ban.
5. Threatening Staff or Members
We know some of the people who join may be important members of other communities. This does not win you brownie points. If you decide that you don't like this and you threaten any members of staff on this community and any of the Members that actively try to make this community a better place will result in an instant and irrevocable ban from everything that the Senior Staff can possibly ban you from and personally make sure you never touch another fucking thing we are involved with.
