Welcome to the HIU

The Heavy Infantry Unit is made up of Men and Women of the Alliance Marshals who are trusted with the important job of Suppression. They are armed with the more Advanced K11 and K12 SMGs, utilizing their high rates of fire to pin down targets. Some are even trusted with the older H6 LMGs which while having the disadvantage of extra weight, compensate vastly with the added stopping power of a Ballistic Weapon System.
The members of the HIU aren't given any special privileges like SMU, however they are respected troopers that are a must for squads needing to use suppression tactics.
