Engineering Applications

Character Back story (At least a paragraph): Having been raised in a mostly-military setting, both parents being in service. Nicole grew up trying to be more independent than her parents - natrually enough not liking the idea of going into service to fight a dead-cause essentially. Having a natural liking to breaking and re-fixing them, taking joy in doing so nonetheless. Being in her second year of engineering studies, her father decide to pull her out of it - and push her in the direction of joining the forces, naturally she didn't want this and tried her best to fight it, but obviously didn't work out that way. With no choice, she came to the realisation that if this is happening, she might as-well do something she'd enjoy - and thus decided to apply for the engineering department. Weither this will be processed or not, is up to choice.

Andrew was born in Regius, a large mining colony on Callicus 5. His mother worked as an data administrator for the colonies hospital and his father worked as a demolitions expert in the colonies Berillium mines which is where Andrew's interest in engineering began, however by the time he had grown up and achieved his demolition qualifications the Berillium mines were being shut down and many colonists began to leave Regius. Unable to find a job in any of the planets other colonies Andrew decided to join the Alliance Military and applied for the engineering department, hoping that further experience and training would help him get a better career.
