Personality Description: Arthur is best described as hardheaded, strong-willed, passionate, reckless but most of all impulsive. He could be described as the token soldier with the idea of becoming a hero to humanity engraved into his mind. Although he isn't without his flaws, Arthur is an extremely hot-headed, self-destructive young boy. Finding no enjoyment with working with his fellow men and only listening to the orders he is given. Although caught alone, you would be able to spot his natural interests. With his love of music often seen in private. One would also be able to note Haggert intent on distancing himself from his fellow soldiers.
Physical Description: Youthful and Prominent. Standing at six foot, with short pale black hair. The only trait that hides his youth would be the small amount of facial hair upon his face. Giving a small disheveled look. With rough fair skin. You would be able to spot a small scar on his lower lip that has faded slightly. His lean body holds an athletic tone to it with a burn scar across his right arm. His steel blue eyes do well to accent his defined features.
His voice would be rather rough, speaking as though he was tired all the time.
Character Bio: August 16th, 2526, Born in Quezon to the rather well off family of Todd Haggert and Lacy Miller, Although even with a comfortable childhood. Arthur cared for only one thing, to join the UNSC. Throughout his formal education he told teachers and other students alike that he'll be the one to stop the Covenant and end the War. Although any child saying these thoughts were met with a wave of a hand and the scoff of a voice. Haggert's young years were mostly left quiet and joyless. However on September 31st, 2542. Reach had gotten word of the Glassing of Alluvion. With this news, Haggert at the age of seventeen decided he was going to sign up as soon as he could. Luck would have it that it wouldn't be a long wait to join.
Arthur was a strange recruit. Often seen in the company of his fellow marines only when ordered to. It got to the point his fellow recruits called him a robot, only listening to the orders and not accepting failure to do them, although others talked of his free time. Saying he would be seen writing music or in a small journal he kept to himself. Some officers stated their worry on his mental Psyche yet with even with these drawbacks, Haggert was able to pass through basic.
Once basic had been finished, Arthur's first assignment was to deal with a minor insurrection scuffle. He was moved to a platoon to deal with the problem in the outer colonies. Arthur feeling like his talents were being wasted ended up getting a dose of what life is actually like when his platoon ran into an ambush, after four grueling hours of fighting. The gunfire eventually died down, leaving Arthur with major burns along his right arm and countless minor injuries along with four other survivors of the thirty man platoon. After being picked up by a Pelican to be delivered to an infirmary, Haggert was placed into medical care for three and a half weeks. During this time Haggert's hatred of the Covenant grew with each passing hour, and along that hatred was his hatred for the Insurrectionists. By the time he was deemed fit for duty, Haggert's habit of keeping quiet among his fellow marines grew even harsher. To the point even on duty, the only time he'd speak were to rely orders from commanding officers or to reply to said officer. After a brief time of transferring from post to post. Haggert was eventually transferred to the 'Safety In Silence'.
How did you hear of this Roleplay & Community? We would like a name. If no one vouches for you, the chances of you gaining entry are slim: About half of the people on this server. I know most of you, some might not remember me. But I mainly heard about it from Jeffrey and brief talks with Snow + Looper. Seems interesting and I'm returning to RP after a short break.
