Having earned this title myself I just want to come out and say that you wouldn't be called a expert, from personal experience we simply appointed the title marksman to those who showed promise with the weapon system.

So instead just change it to marksman as every year a trooper has to take his annual combat marksman ship test to see if he's up to standard, perform above the grade you earn the title marksman. Regarding the tittle you punt in simply being 'assault rifle change that to that to the weapon system you passed you ACMT with.
