Hello there future Surgeon/Combat Lifesaver before you're forwarded to either me or the lead surgeon we're gonna go over some information you'll need before recieving your training.
First of all I'd like to explain the difference between a surgeon and a combat lifesaver, as a combat lifesaver your job is to PREPARE the wounded person for surgery, you may apply morphine (rarely), bandages, gauze etc, but your training will be based around preparing the wounded person to be taken in my surgeons. So in short Combat Lifesavers use the skills and training they get through their training courses to make sure that the wounded person is alive and well until a team of surgeons can attend to them fully.
As for the surgeons you will most likely NOT be a part of a ground operation unless authorized by me or Captain Sterling, your main objective will be to remain on base and prepare for possible surgery, once someone is injured we will forward it to you so you can begin preparing the surgery room or any other things that need to be prepared.
