Steam name: Corgi Jesus
Age: Nineteen
Character Name: Jacob Jast
Character Age: Twenty-one
Character Corps: Marine
Character Rank: Private First-Class
Planet of Origin: Earth
Personality Description:
Jast is a highly sociable man. He enjoys conversation, and he loves to make people laugh. He is often seen as a “Class Clown” but is able to be serious when it is needed. Even though he cracks his jokes on a regular basis, he will always maintain his discipline. He is fond of his superiors, but he wouldn’t quite be seen as a “Brown-noser”.
Physical Description:
Jacob Jast stands at a reasonable height of 5’11”. He has a muscular build, and is well toned. He is clean shaven, and has short brown hair, and brown eyes. He has a single tattoo on his right bicep that reads, “Never Forget”. His skin is tan. His dog tags hang from his neck, but as for conduct, they are tucked under his shirt. He wears a standard Marine uniform.
Character Bio:
Jacob Jast was born on Earth on December 28th, 2524. He, like most other kids around him, grew up in a very loving home. His parents were middle class, so you can say he had a decent life as a child. Though, the near future would not be well for him. His mother ended up dying from a traffic incident when he was ten, and it was very difficult for him, as he loved her dearly. His father took the loss even harder, but didn’t let it stop him from raising Jacob.
Around the age of fifteen, Jacob was showing an interest in the military. His father, being a Marine Corporal in his younger years, encouraged him to follow this path. So his future was set. Jacob took on sports in order to get in shape. He was always active, and you would rarely find him indoors. He studied hard as well, as he knew brawn is nothing without brains. He was a fit, and intelligent individual. Able to make friends with pretty much anyone.
His eighteenth birthday was approaching, and Jacob could feel the knots in his stomach. He had his doubts on whether he could make it or not, as many people have experienced. He pushed on though, and mentally prepared himself. Nothing would really be able to prepare him for basic, though. The day after he turned eighteen, he enlisted and went on to begin his career as a Marine in the UNSC. He took the required exams, and passed all of them, being slightly above average.
Within a couple months, he was sent to basic training. Where he learned all of the necessities to survive in an everyday military life. The training was grueling for someone who has never gone through anything similar, and he was pushed mentally and physically just like all the other recruits. In the training, he had learned the values of being a Marine. He learned drills, and he went through Marksmanship training, as well as Field training, and all the basics.
After the whole twelve weeks of basic training, Jacob had finally passed. He had bonded with his fellow recruits, and it was time for them to part ways. On Graduation day, Jacobs father was proud to see his son, a full grown Marine. Afterwards, he was sent to his unit on the UNSC Atlas. He was required to partake in many different drills. He hadn't necessarily seen any combat, but he was still very disciplined. After two years and nine months he was sent to the UNSC Safety in Silence, where his real story will begin.

SPECWARCOM is generally to do with the UNSC Army, not Marines. Also Special Operations hardly ever recruit people straight out of basic, it's just too risky because what if they suck under pressure and if you were just 'above average' they wouldn't give a fuck and mental capacity has nothing to do with Special operations.
I have no problem with a young marine. But what you've describe isn't a marine, it's UNSC Army. And he seems to have not done a single Special Ops thing if he was just stationed there.
AFTER REREADING. You would nto be invited to SPECWARCOM before Basic, and you never went through a vetting procress so no way in fuck would you be taken into a Special operations unit.
Rethink the app. I like the general story till you start trying to make him a snowflake.

Thank you for the advice, I will change it up tonight or tomorrow. I wasn't originally going to go for it, as I don't know much about SPECWARCOM, but a friend talked me into it, so I basically winged it.

Edited and ready. I do apologize if I seemed "Edgy". The parts that you liked, were the parts that I wrote on my own with no help. I wasn't trying to be a special snowflake.

Yeah no worries. I get that sometimes you get the urge to bump a character's importance up, either by friends or by yourself. No worries.
Only thing is. Once again, Marines get stationed to fleets. Army gets stationed on planets. Small detail to change.
Other than that, Officially
