1962
The Centralised Terran Council is established as the main governing body of earth after nearly a century of lobbying and attempts at creating a unified planetary governing body. The planet of Terra becomes a unified planet.
The CTC soon after being ratified establishes the United Nations of Terra (UNT) and gives it the task of creating a standard of living for all humanoids on Terra.
2012
-July-
Newton Technology & Innovations group is founded by Anders Newton (Human) with the sole focus of creating sustainable interplanetary travel, bringing the outer worlds of the solar system within reach of the civilian population.
2017
-March-
Newton Technology & Innovations group rebrands itself to NewTech, which quickly gains the nickname “NTech”. With the rebranding the company releases the first in their line interplanetary passenger spacecraft. The spacecraft become a huge success, skyrocketing NTech to the position of being one of the largest and wealthiest corporations in the solar system.
2018
-December-
Jason Stoneheart founds Stoneheart Industries, focusing on military grade weapons and technology research.
2020
-January-
Anders Newton dies under suspicious circumstances, police investigation leads to a dead end. The nations of earth and the newly established civilian colonies mourn the loss of a great scientist and the “father of interplanetary space travel”.
NTech falls under leadership of the board of executives.
-May-
Stoneheart Industries is implicated in a scandal for selling military grade arms to black market dealers. Subsequently Jason Stoneheart goes underground to avoid the criminal charges against him.
Stoneheart Industries release their own line of commercial and military interplanetary spacecraft.
2021
-September-
NTech shifts focus from commercial research to defense and weapons focused research under order from the board of directors.
2023
With the establishment of colonies on almost every world inside the asteroid belt, and transit from planet to planet only taking a few days, interplanetary crime becomes a reality. In an attempt to keep the crime-rate down the Centralised Terran Council starts the “Cowboy” program, enlisting the help of bounty hunters to hunt down and capture criminals and outlaws in exchange for hefty bounties.
-June-
Jason Stoneheart is implicated in the murder of Anders Newton, the bounty on his head is increased ten-fold.
2028
-April-
Casey Newton, the only daughter of Anders Newton takes back her father company and turns the company back on the course he set for it.
-August-
NTech establishes the first ever Faster Than Light travel research insitute, placing it on Mars’ north pole.
