Only a few people know of this and I feel like it's the community's right to know. I've been heavily considering military service for the next few years and I feel as though it's my best (And only) option at this point in my life that doesn't immediately involve dumping every penny into getting into college. I'm no patriot, if anything, I was very against wanting anything to do with the government, but my options in life are limited, as they offer far too many benefits for me to simply ignore and at this point, I need every edge I can get in the years to come. Finding a steady job has been a hassle, and if I can get something out of this, then terrific.

I'll be attending the aptitude test tomorrow and the physical exam on Tuesday. I'll most likely be swearing in on Tuesday as well, and on that day I'll begin my eight year service obligation.

I'll update this post as necessary.

MOS is 19D (Nineteen Delta). So, Calvary Scout.

Came back for a short period of time for the Holidays, then I'll be going back to the trenches on Wednesday.

Duty sucks. I'll -try- to be on more often. No promises can be made.
