Personality Description: Reasonably stoic, social, and humorous when the time is right. Cara is reasonable at most times, but not to the point where she has become hardened enough to act brutish or bluntly. She struggles with a few things, however. Most notably, loneliness or the fear of losing purpose. These two struggles are linked to her past, and as with most things, she does her best to overcome it.
If tied to a Jungian archetype, hers would certainly be the Jester, as she uses humour to keep a good mood, but also to heal and process. She tends to live in the moment, both to her benefit and loss. Being a wielder of infectious-joy, her comrades could be lightened by her presence, or bothered by her ability to neglect her own psychological needs. This, along with her fear of emotional confrontation, would have to be tackled by anyone seeking to delve deeper than a few chats.
Physical Description: Cara carries with her a smooth face with plenty of freckles, and eyes coloured by a mixture of green and grey, framed by a rounded jaw and chin. At the centre of her face is a shapely nose of above average size, relatively pointy yet not perked upwards. When it comes to her mouth, it is of average size and width, and at the sides of her head are two rounded ears with the marks of previous piercings that have long since healed. Her hair is a darker brown, offering her a rather mixed appearance when it comes to colours.
Cara's physical state is as expected of a military woman, certainly not curvy with reasonable muscle-definition. She is five feet and eleven inches tall, with relatively pale skin despite her origins. Her father was equally pale, so perhaps genetics play some part in this. Furthermore, her build could be described as lean, with limited 'assets'. In general, she keeps herself neat and tidy, paying close attention to her personal hygiene, even when the means to do so are restricted.
Character Bio: Cara was born on Reach, a fair 31 years from present day. Her parents made no secret of the unplanned nature of her birth, or that they weren't pleased with it. She found herself worked harder than most of her other siblings, save the eldest boys. Several members of her rather extensive family passed on two separate occasion, both times accidents, leaving her with more work and less people to confide in.
Born into a family with plenty of children and far too restricted funds, Cara was more or less forced to enlist to alleviate the family's financial troubles. Given the ultimatum of enlisting or being thrown out, she chose the former, and hasn't looked back since.
Coming from a background in reasonable poverty, she has dealt with hardship and loss before, yet managed to keep herself intact for the most part. As for her family, she doesn't care much for them, yet does tend to keep appearances up, for the sake of those still back home.
