Middle Name(s): Harrison
Last Name: Deckard
Callsign: 'Lazarus'
Date of Birth: 20/04/2510
Race: Caucasian
Planet of Birth: Manassas, Reach
Rank: Chief Petty Officer
Status:| A sudden gust of air is let into the room resulting from the mechanical door sliding open to your office. Caught off guard, you dart your head from the agent profile on your computer to the direction of the door, spotting a Retrieval and Acquisitions officer, dressed in a standard issue ONI BDU. In his hand is a black, metallic, box-shaped archive module, which he carries noticeably cautiously and carefully. He would confidently walk towards your desk, the door sliding back behind him automatically as he would let out a grin down at you.
"I told you I'd find it.", he would confidently speak, holding the archive module up and revealing it to you. Nodding in response, you thankfully smile towards him, moving your arm out and sliding your ONI Section 3 badge aside to create a space on your desk. "Thank you, Buck.", you say as you reach your hands out for the archive module. "Did you do as I asked?", you would continue, taking the archive module out of his hands and lightly setting it down on the desk on it's back. "I didn't look inside it if that's what you're asking, didn't think you guys were that serious about this stuff.", he would remark with a smirk, taking a step back. "Usual procedure even with these kinds of packages, I don't make up the rules; I just deal them.", you state, remaining in a serious tone. Buck would give out a small, perplexed look, before shrugging his shoulders and turning back around, walking back out with a wave of his hand farewell. "Whatever, boss. Another day another retrieval.", he would comment before disappearing behind your office door.
Sighing, you turn to look down at the archive module. The archive module's casing is scratched and worn, but clearly only just recently cleaned upon retrieval. On the front it would have multiple lines:
REQ://65|59_234|97//
p/Code: X16-69856.01
Type: (#PO600-80522)
Item: Archive Module
SCI 20||0602||24

167.6mm x 210.6mm x 78.0mm
Unit Weight: 2.344lbs
Lot: TASA26700-92 |XA|0707
To the right of this line of code would be a "Section 1" ONI icon.
Reaching over to one of your desk's drawers, you open it swiftly, grabbing your small staff ID and moving it back to the module, waving it over the scanning mechanism at the front. Four clicks would be heard from the device unlocking itself, to which you accompany by grabbing the handle at the top, slowly sliding the middle of the box open. Inside, reveals a small GPS device, an ONI issue reconnaissance datapad, an ID card, a sticky note, a black, weathered journal, an ODST badge and a small, silver bracelet. Taking the ID card, you examine the front.
The transparent looking ID card would have the Office of Naval Intelligence logo at the top, alongside a bar code for scanning in the middle with the UNSC logo underneath. Next to the ONI logo would be the name "DECKARD", alongside "Malcolm H." Placing this alongside your computer, you would then move on to the sticky note. "24 Sunrise Avenue, Manassas, Reach." You frown heavily while reading it, sighing as you put the note aside. You then move to the GPS, switching it off, and then taking the datapad, journal, bracelet and badge out of the case, and placing it down beside the module.
Through a quick examination of the datapad, you find it's still biometrically locked with advanced software to the original user, with heavy encryption software on the data contained. You press your finger onto the small scanner installed on the side, to which it would then override the system to give you access, switching on the datapad.
"CPO. M. Deckard - Operation 'Jurisdiction' Reconnaissance Logs" The title would read, the rest being the agent's logs of a certain URF group's movements and activities, the data leading up to the inclusion of ONI Recovery Team Alpha-India-Romero, to which it would then instead include logs of the personnel part of the recovery team. Shutting down the datapad, you would put it aside, then grabbing the black journal and brushing the front of it off. The journal would be blank and worn, obviously used a lot during its time. You open the journal, flicking through the pages and scanning over them, realising that this journal is instead personal entries from the agent starting from halfway through Operation Jurisdiction, during the inclusion of the recovery team. You rest back in your chair, making yourself comfortable while turning back to the front of the journal. You glance back at the computer, checking the time before shrugging your shoulders and turning back to the journal, beginning to read it...

Miia Taikon
Master Chief Petty Officer Taikon... Damn, pretty exotic name if anything. It seems as well as having a whole marine and ODST compliment, they're also sending in another ONI agent to be my partner too. My first fear was that this officer was gonna be a complete hardass, or some boring old person who just gives out orders, but - well... Honestly, there's no other way to describe this agent other than being the real life interpretation of women in video games. Seriously, I saw her wearing what has to be the tightest bodysuit I have ever seen, and -
Erm - But anyway, this is only first impressions, I mean maybe she wears that as it helps with operations. Either way, I hope they don't force me to wear some bodysuit like that, otherwise, ONI should instead be called Office of Naval Dominatrix... Or something. I wouldn't be surprised if she gets at least catcalls from different people when walking around the base. May as well has a sign posted saying 'my eyes are up here'.
Jokes aside, she seems like a nice person, can't wait to meet her.
Talia Petrova
Talia Petrova sounds like the type of name you'll find out of an erotic novel, all I can picture is some overly attractive Russian special agent. She's quite cooperative when it comes to comparing information about insurrectionists, I heard, which is especially helpful when it comes to getting help from someone of her... Expertise. Hopefully, I'm not the first one to piss her off, which I'm somewhat prone to do when I mix sarcasm with professionalism. Special Agent Petrova? Meet Special, Special ONI agent Deckard, the reason you're going to lose hope in the UNSC.
From Agent Deckard, with hopes you don't slap me.
Derrick Jaeger
Derrick Jaeger is quite possibly completely opposite to how I pictured him out to be. I was always expecting some wise, older looking commander, but instead, it's someone around the same age as me, and not entirely senile. (yet) I haven't entirely got to know him outside of simply listening to his announcements, but this guy doesn't seem half bad, not like some of the other COs I have encountered, who think all around discipline somehow boosts morale.
If anything I'm half expecting him to come rolling up in a warthog on some big battle with a magnum shooting all the enemies.
Alka Walker
Of course, being from the ODST's previously, I have much respect for any ODST soldier out there. As I was observing all of the ODST compliment touch ground at base, this soldier stood out to me, for the fact she actually reminds me of myself back during those times. Both confident and also at the same time quite hardheaded due to the fact we have to be, I can already see this one's definitely going to turn out as much as a wreck as I turned out to be.
As if we needed another one like me...
Wade Riley
I've always been afraid of flying, which might be weird coming from an ONI operative... It's mainly because I have to dedicate my life into another's hands, and I can't even trust myself. While its expected that I might state how Riley has completely changed my mind and made me not afraid, that's not the case. I even felt scared observing from the ground, mainly due to the more confident way he flew, especially with the tight corners he did and the fast landing. Call me a massive chicken shit, but maybe I'll instead walk from point A to B instead.
If anyone asks, it's to keep a low profile, not because I'm scared of flying.
Kyle Patterson
Looking through the details of the ODSTs that are being recruited to AIR, I managed to spot Kyle Patterson's name come up. His father's a well known ODST First Lieutenant, kind of a role model towards us when I was enlisted with the ODSTs. We'd basically look up to them and go "oh, well, we're not completely screwed" while we were also about to drop into a shitstorm in an eggshell. What surprised me more is that someone actually made it to the rank of First Lieutenant while being an ODST, our life expectancy isn't exactly the best.
But yeah, his son's a Lance Corporal within the branch who's serving with me, which should be fun. Spending every interaction trying not to get on his son's bad side so I don't get my ass kicked sounds like a good way to go around.
Freide Volk
A Unit Citation, Red Legion of Honor and Silver Star for the Evacuation of Kholo. Fuck. Me. How is someone a Corporal but yet still has better awards than I do? Yes, I do note the fact I don't actually deserve any medals really due to no outstanding operations, but goddamn, this Corporal's going places.
Strange though, when I was observing everyone touching ground I saw her as well, and I swear I saw she had purple eyes. Maybe I'm just tired from all these sleepless nights and military rations. Freaky as hell, though.
Jason Pike
I heard the insurrectionists now call him 'Havoc', a codename probably used to try and hide his identity even further, but he can't escape from us. Havoc's criminal record keeps piling up, going as far as assassination attempts and actual assassinations of political figures. There's no reasoning with him at all at this stage, although we don't really want to anyway. When I find him - which I will, I will gladly shoot him in the face.
I might not have seen you in person yet, Havoc. But be careful, we're ever vigilant and watching, and when you make one mistake and even the smallest bad move, it will be your last.
